How To Start A Blog Efficiently And Quickly

Having a blog is something really exciting, it allows you to express yourself freely, share your experiences and thoughts and, above all, talk with others even if they are hundreds of kilometers away. Blogs join us in words. Do you want to know how to start a blog without money and reach your goals? It seems to be impossible, but I will tell you the experience of my beginnings as a blogger so you can see that the possibility exists.


1. Choose a topic that you are passionate about and in which you have talent

In addition to passion and taste, talent is needed, that is, work on a topic that makes you feel comfortable and that you handle with ease. If you mix these 2 qualities: passion + talent you will have great strength, take advantage of it.

2. Start with what you have

Never wait until "the perfect moment" because it does not exist, it is best to start now with what you have. Then let yourself go with the flow and you will see how the project is growing little by little. Research the different blogging platforms that exist and use the one that suits you.

I recommend wordpress but there are others such as blogger, typepad, tumblr, etc.

3. Make a new habit

Believe it or not, blogging is a super big commitment that becomes easier when it becomes a habit. I recommend that you set attainable goals of publication as 1 post a week and that you meet it for a good time to make it easier.

4. Do not be afraid to innovate

Write your ideas as crazy as they seem, even if you don't believe it, that's how works of art are born, of crazy ideas.

5. Do a little market research

It is very important that you know the competition, what it offers, its advantages, which makes them strong and their weaknesses. You do not have to hire an agency or anything, just visit blogs similar to yours and make a profile of the author, design and other qualities that you consider important. The more you know about the competition you will be stronger and your blog can grow more and more.

6. Use social networks

Take advantage of the power of networks to how to grow your blog. There are many but I recommend that you choose the ones that suit you because maintaining many profiles is not easy. I recommend these: facebook, twitter, bloglovin, and pinterest.  Not all social networks are the same and have the same objective, look at them, analyze the theme of your blog and decide which is the most convenient social network to share your content and make yourself known.


7. Know your users

Use tools that allow you to collect information from your users such as analytics, bitly and Facebook insights, in this way you will be more clear about what your readers are seeing to know what topics to keep writing and which ones not.  The important thing is that you start because the hard part comes later when you have to be constant when posting.  Remember to be patient, at first it is complicated and it costs work, but as you go forward it will become increasingly exciting and your technique will improve.

If at first, you feel you don't have your style, don't feel bad, that's how we all start. As time goes by you will find what your profile is. The important thing is that you continue and keep writing.
